Hypothyroidism Symptoms

Hypothyroidism occurs when the thyroid gland does not make enough thyroid hormone.

Symptoms of hypothyroidism may include:

  • Tiredness and weakness.
  • Weight gain.
  • Depression.
  • Memory problems.
  • Constipation.
  • Dry skin, brittle nails, and coarse, thinning hair.
  • Not being able to tolerate cold temperatures.
